Going Home

For some reason Maria couldn't shake the feeling after she ate. It was almost as though her body wasn't allowing her to eat at all. After not getting a good night sleep she decided that going to her family doctor and figuring out what is wrong was the best thing even though she had to leave David alone for a day or so. The worst thing was, breaking the news to him.

Walking out on the deck David was coming back ifrom surfing, with a smile she placed a hand on her brow using it as some sort of sun Visor as he began to make his way up the steps.

{Maria} Doesn't look like you had much to ride out there....

David: Ya the waves died down...it was fine though i had time to think sitting out on the board...

David lays his board in the sand as he walks up and kisses her on the cheek pulling her with him he sat on the steps her standing in front of him...

David: Whatcha have planned today?

{Maria} Well...

Moving some hair behind her ear she takes a seat next to David.

{Maria} I have decided to go back home for a day or two and visit my family doctor, so that means you will spend a whole day flying sollow...

David puts his arm around her, no smile on his face...

David: if thats what you feel must be done dear...

He smiles with her, concern still on his face...

David: just make it back in time for the show

Maria examines his face for a moment before her smile fades.

{Maria} and if I don't make it back for the show?

David: well i'll be worried...that something is wrong

{Maria} Well if it turns out to be something serious I will call you but if I decide to stay longer I will still call you so you don't worry Okay?

She taps him on the shoulder before looking out into the sea.

David: Okay...

David stood up and grabbed his Board pulling it up out of the sand and carrying it on to the back porch...he looked down at Maria before heading inside

Maria watched David as he went inside, looking back at the sea putting her hand threw her hair she sighed. She knew David wanted her to stay and the fact that she would be leaving probably made him kinda of angry.

She stayed sitting on the porch deep in thought, looking down at the ground...

David had gone to take a shower...He walked out the the bathroom dressed in shorts, he had a towel around his neck as he looked out the window at Maria. She was now standing at the shoreline looking out into the Ocean...her hair blowing in the wind. David walked out on the back Porch and leaned on the rail staring out into the ocean. Finally he walks down to her grabbing her hand they start to walk down the beach...

They stayed quiet for awhile until..

{Maria} Would you rather me go after the show?

David: No...I want you better

The manage to walk into the the shore as water washes over their feet

David: What happens at the show isnt more important then your health

{Maria} No but it is a stepping stone in your wrestling career... you know I wouldn't miss it but I am getting sick of not being able to eat and I know you don't like to see me miserable... but you have to promise me that if I can't make it back to the show, that you won't be too distracted from winning what we both know you deserve.

David: I'm coming home with that title one way or another...but thats not the point...I need you to be happy again...and going to the doctor though annoying to me with the timing...It has to be done...

{Maria} I'm sorry, I can't really control the timing It was either keep being miserable and looking at you worrying all the time or go to the doctor and leaving you for a few days to escape that worrying look on your face....

She smiled tryig to joke with him.

David: I have to worry about something since i dont worry about my own career...besides I'd rather you be happy and joking then standing over a toliet throwing up trying to hold your hair back

Maria waved him off..

{Maria} hold my hair back? that is what I have you for...

She smiled very cheesy at David.

David: No no I watch you eat the food....I'm not watching it come back out...your on your own their sugar tush

{Maria} Alright fine I guess I shall eat with my hair back in a pony tail so neither of us have to do it. But I know that if I needed you to do it you would like if i was handicape from the neck down....

David: no no thats what your home nurse is for...I'll be sleeping on the couch

Rolling her eyes she pushed David.

{Maria} you are such a baby...

David: What I'm only looking out for you...if something were to happen where you cant do anything I'll you a hot nurse to take care of you, I Promise...

{Maria} you mean a hot guy nurse? or a hot girl nurse? Cause only one would tickle my fancy.

She smiled at him

{Maria} but I doubt if they could be as good as you if you were my nurse

David just laughs...

David: I never said i was looking to tickle your fancy...and i won't need to be a nurse cause your perfectly fine

{Maria} Excatly, so there is no need for you to worry now is there?
