Going Home

David sits on a couch in a nice place, the TV is on Looney toons as David sits on the couch eating a sandwich and laughing as Daffy gets shot by Elmer. Maria walks into the room and laughs at him, as shes sits next to him on the couch with her own sandwich. They were at his home in Boston, being given the week off David decided now was the best time to go home and prepare for his match with JaMarcus...knowing he can beat Flex and Mickey it was now time to go after the man that has also beaten them.Maria starts to eat her sandwich as she lays her head on his shoulder, watching the cartoon...

{Maria} You know its funnier when elmer goes after Bugs then it is Daffy....

taking a byte of her sandwhich she wipes the corner of her mouth with her finger. Looking at David she knew that watching cartoons was one of his ways to get away from what he was really thinking about.

But there was something that Maria wanted to talk about rather he liked it or not.

{Maria} To be honest... the other day at lunch.... I think Kate was a little rude...

She admitted.

{Maria} It's one thing to be invited to sit at a table but to intrude and invite your self? I didn't like it....

David: Well lets just hope Dad, settled it...I knew if she was around she had talked to him before hand...theres no way that if i'm on the road she would know where to find me...

Maria sort of laughed...

{Maria} Is it good that I don't want to see her again? Some thing about her is off to me and it was like she needed you for some thing I don't know what it is but I don't know some thing isn't right.

David: she was there to show her boy toy off then ask me to be there at her wedding...she figures since Jason will be there i should go too

{Maria} Oh.... almost as though she was wanting your approval?

Nodding her head a bit she looked back at the tv.

{Maria} You think you will go?

David: Great part is...Dad showed up before she could invite me so there is no reason to even think about going

{Maria} well seeing how persistent she is i am sure you will be getting an invite either threw the mail or by word of mouth....

taking another byte of her sand which she smiled at David.

{Maria} Nice win over Flex by the way....

David: It wasn't as bad as i was expecting...then again the injury he's dealing with is a tad bit serious

{Maria} Injury? what injury is he dealing with?

For once Maria felt out of the loop.

David: dont feel bad...not many know about his knee...I learned it though the doctor slipping his tongue went looking at my shoulder...its not seriously right now but it could be if he doesnt take it easy

{Maria} well who is to blame him for wrestling with an injury when you are doing the same thing? Which makes me worry a tad bit when you are in the ring...

David: I'm perfectly fine...I do less work with my arms...more work on my legs and bam Shoulder has time to heal...There is no reason to be worried about my injury...besides by the time the PPV rolls around...I'll be 100%

{Maria} David... you will never be a hundred percent...

She said looking at him.

{Maria} Once you dislocate a shoulder, the more pron you are in doing it again

David: it'll be fine...besides hunny, I'm a flyer not a striker

Looking at David a bit awkward... that was the first time he had called her hunny not that it was a bad thing it was just different.

{Maria} Hunny?

David: there a problem with my calling my girlfriend hunny...cause if there is, i wont do it...

{Maria} no there isn't a problem... it is just something I have to get used to hunny bunny

she smiles at David before taking teh last byte of her sandwhich.

David kisses the top of her head, as he snags her plate and gets up taking the dishes to his kitchen...

David: So I have tickets to the Red Sox game tonight...you can come with or I'll call up some of the old guys

David starts washing them off

{Maria} I think you should call some of the od guys, You hang out with me too much people are going to think your whipped...

she laughed joking with him.

David: Then you'll be missing me throwing the opening pitch

David dries off the dishes then walks back over sitting on the couch..

David: oh well I'm sure Jay and Kevin will enjoy seeing it

{Maria} Awe... I would like to see that but I would like you to spend time with your friends besides you already have me no need to take me every where to try and win me over.

David: Well fine then...I gotta go to the arena before the game laurens been calling about something...I dont want to listen to the messages...she likes to leave lengthy boring messages...

David laughs...

David: sure you don't want to come...I gotta fly to NY

{Maria} yea I am sure, you have fun and I am sure I will find something to do to keep me busy in the mean time, maybe I will buy us a puppy...

she laughs as she walks in the kitchen.

David: What do we need a puppy for? We have Dad's dogs and Scout...we don't need more dogs
